Home Energy Tailor provides free, personalised home energy reports based on information you provide through our survey. The service is offered at no cost to users.
2. Not Professional Advice
Our reports are for general guidance only and do not constitute professional energy advice, financial advice, or a formal energy assessment. Recommendations should be verified by a qualified assessor before proceeding with any installation work.
3. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but cannot guarantee the accuracy of energy savings estimates, cost figures, or grant eligibility. Data is based on publicly available sources and typical UK property profiles.
4. Installer Referrals
When you request quotes through our service, we connect you with third-party installers. We may receive a referral commission from these installers. This commission does not affect our recommendations, which are generated independently. See our commission disclosure for details.
5. Donations
Donations are entirely voluntary and are non-refundable. Donations do not affect the content or quality of your report.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Energy Tailor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this service. Our total liability shall not exceed £100.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code are the property of Home Energy Tailor. Your personalised report is provided for your personal use and may be shared, but not used commercially.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
